Tabby

Tabby is a modern tabbing widget for mootools. It can load the contents of each tab from hidden dom elements, be supplied the dom elements or html strings through javascript, or load it as needed over Ajax.

It requires Class.Extras, Element, and Ajax (only if you want to use Tabby.Remote). It works with all modern web browsers, and also Internet Explorer. It also fires off a few events so it can be styled up to be quite beautiful! You can take a look at a video showing off how beautiful Tabby can be. It was recorded with Tabby.Remote accessing a live server in a different continent with its onLoading and onLoaded events hooked up to do some nice fading effects. The rest is common CSS styling. The design used in this example is the work of Ben at Goo Creative.

You can grab the source code, or check out a live demo!

Tabby is released as public domain donationware by Jenna Fox.
